The Void

Shadows of Truth
Glimmers of Pain
need release
torn heart
shredded soul
wandering aimlessly
Void all around.

Love shorn,
Love torn
ripped to shreds
tossed at my feet
lying in Shadow
watching it fade
into the Void.

The world hums
as the sun rises
and the Dark
of night is gone
Life is lost
to the sun's gleam
shattering the Void.

The shell,
The shield
of Darkness
that warded
off the Truth
is no more
I want the Void.

Blissful release
Sorrow is gone
let me leave
it all behind
enter into it
soak in it
become the Void.

"Let Death come,"
I cry, I scream
"The pain overbears!"
I no longer care
I want no more
just let me go
welcome the Void.

Into it's embrace
the beckoning Cold
feels warm, warm
next to the Pain.
the comfort,
the bliss
I shall embrace
The Eternal Void.
